The second leg of the Spanish roadshow saw Steve and Alun take control of the demonstration vehicle. From Barcelona they headed towards Valencia, Madrid and Salamanca.
Once again assistance was given in each town by Sandra Berges, DWS Product Specialist from Nirco our Spanish distributor, who had done a fantastic job of organising the customers for us to see at each stop. This was the first time the demonstration vehicle had been in Spain and Sandra had lined up plenty of worthwhile visits.
In each town they visited a variety of different labs: universities, hospitals, contract labs, pharma companies, even ‘secret’ government labs – with a whole variety of applications and interests. At each of these stops representatives were invited to visit the modern environment of the demonstration vehicle and discuss how Don Whitley Scientific equipment could enhance and benefit their particular scientific
applications.
Demonstrations were offered by Steve and Alun on workstations from each range – anaerobic, hypoxic, microaerobic – and customers were universally impressed at the quality of our workstations and the precise way in which we measure and control the conditions created inside the chambers/cabinet.
Spain was a new destination for the Don Whitley Scientific demonstration vehicle, these ventures are becoming increasingly useful and we are always on the look out for new places to visit.
